This One Thing …

Good Friday ~ It marks the day Jesus was crucified, dead and buried. Completely without sin, He became our sin so that we could be free from the chains that bind us; that kill, that steal and destroy us. Born into sin, an eternal death sentence is our due. Though it cannot be reversed, we can be saved from it. Jesus, God’s only son; God incarnate (embodied in flesh; given human form).  His one solitary purpose in coming to earth as man to be crucified, to die and to be buried is to save each individual whom He has created. Love in the purest form and to the highest degree.

This One Thing …

Sunday is coming …  “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.  I am the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except by means of me.

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

“Peace I leave you; my peace I give you.”
